Leh, July 4: In a significant administrative development, the Planning Development and Monitoring Department (PD&MD) of the Union Territory of Ladakh has regularized the services of seven officials as Assistant Directors and promoted four Statistical Officers to the same rank in the Economics & Statistics (E&S) cadre.
The move follows the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) held on 24th June 2025, and received formal approval from the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh. As per Order No. 121-PD&MD(UTL) of 2025, issued on 4th July 2025, the regularization applies to three In-Charge Assistant Directors and four Officiating Assistant Directors, while four Statistical Officers have been promoted to the post of Assistant Director (E&S).
These officials will now serve in Pay Level-8 (₹47,600 – ₹1,51,100) with effect from dates ranging between 15th November 2021 and 24th June 2025, as indicated in the official order. All promotees will continue to work at their existing place of posting until further posting orders are issued.
The order was issued under the signature of Dr. Laltinkhuma Franklin, IAS, Administrative Secretary, PD&MD, UT Ladakh.
This decision marks an important step in strengthening the human resource framework of the department by recognizing the contributions and services of dedicated officers.
