Seva for Sangha camp to be held in Leh from May 11

Camp would include 20 schemes: MP JTN
Leh: Member of Parliament, Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, held a press conference regarding the Seva for Sangha camp to be conducted during the Ladakh Monlam Chenmo from May 11-15 in collaboration with the District Administration.

The Seva for Sangha camp in association with District Administration would focus on targeting individual-oriented beneficiary schemes during the Ladakh Monlam Chenmo to be observed at Dharma Centre, Choglamsar, Leh.

MP Ladakh JTN, in his media address, focused primarily on the list of schemes that could be availed off by the monks and nuns congregating for the five-day Monlam Chenmo programme and the required documents.

He informed that around 20 schemes, including Golden Card, UDID, Disability Pension, Old Age Pension, Health ID, Aadhar enrolment and updation, Pension for Women in Destitute, Ration Card, PM Awas Yojana Gramin, PAN Card, Medical Camps, and Health Awareness would be provided by the different concerned departments.

Further, he shared that the banks operating the district would also provide their services and promote the schemes of PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, PM Jan Dhan Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana.

MP JTN added that ITBP would also put a medical camp and provide other required paraphernalia like tents for smooth conduct of the Seva for Sangha camp. He said that CIBS would assign teachers to assist the beneficiaries.

Departments like PHE and PDD are also instructed during the recent DISHA meeting to provide their required services during the camp.
