Leh, December 13, 2025:
The District Institute of Education & Training (DIET), Leh, today successfully concluded a three-day workshop on Social, Emotional and Ethical (SEE) Learning, aimed at strengthening holistic education practices across the district.

The workshop featured expert inputs from Mr. Nishant Payal, Programme Manager, Piramal Foundation, who joined as Resource Person from the second day, along with Mr. Dorjay Wangchuk, Senior Lecturer, DIET, and Ms. Tsering Angmo, Lecturer, DIET. The sessions provided practical insights into integrating SEE Learning principles within the school education system.

The final day focused on operationalising the SEE Learning framework, with a dedicated session for Block Resource Coordinators (BRCs) and Cluster Resource Coordinators (CRCs). Discussions centred on their roles in cascading the training and ensuring effective implementation of SEE Learning practices in schools across Leh district. To support this process, participants were provided with detailed reference booklets.

The workshop concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, where all 45 participants were awarded Certificates of Completion. Heads of Departments at DIET Leh, in their closing remarks, appreciated the smooth conduct of the programme and lauded the active participation of educators. They noted that the initiative marks an important step towards nurturing empathetic, compassionate and ethically grounded learning environments in schools throughout the district.
