Khaltse, November 7: In line with the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Khaltse, Mohd Sharif, chaired a meeting with officers of the Sub Division to review preparations for the upcoming “Memangs-Si-Jabstok” (Public Services) campaign.
During the meeting, the SDM urged all departments to actively participate in the outreach programme and create awareness among villagers about various centrally sponsored and UT-level schemes. He instructed officials to provide on-the-spot public services at designated venues in each village.
The campaign schedule was finalized in consultation with departmental officers and will be conducted across the Sub Division from November 10 to 18, 2025. Naib Tehsildars were directed to inform Namberdars of their respective areas about the team’s visit schedule in advance.
The meeting was attended by Naib Tehsildars, Executive Engineer (R&B) Ghulam Abass, BMO Dr. Shamim Ahmad, CDPO Shakila Bano, ZEO Nawang Namgail, bank managers, engineers from PHE, PDD, and I&FC departments, and other officials.
