Leh : In an effort to ensure effective execution of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) and to directly engage with the local population, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Khaltse, Mohd Sharif, conducted a detailed field inspection of all 11 mohallas across Tia and Temisgam villages on Tuesday.
Accompanied by key officials including AEE PHE Phurboo Sangdup, AEE R&B Anwar Khan, AEE I&FC Mohd Abdullah, JE PHE Asif Mirza, and the Namberdars of Tia and Temisgam, the SDM led spot inspections and held interactive sessions with community members to understand the on-ground status of water supply schemes and associated grievances.
During the visit, villagers highlighted several issues related to water accessibility and infrastructure under JJM. The SDM assured the residents that their concerns would be taken up on priority. He instructed the concerned departments to initiate immediate remedial measures and to coordinate closely with the local representatives for timely resolution.
This inspection was carried out as per the directions of the Hon’ble Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Leh, and reflects the administration’s commitment to ensure transparent, accountable, and efficient delivery of essential public services.
