
RDD’s 6 day residential training for community mobilizers begins
KARGIL: Ladakh Rural Development Department kick started a 6 day residential training of all community mobilizers of two blocks Kargil and TSG under Kargil district by Ladakh Rural Livelihood Mission RDD started Thursday at the Highland Hotel Baroo.
LRLM State Mission Director Tahir Hussain inaugurated the training on the first day. On this occasion, ACD Kargil Ghulam Mohammed, DPO Kargil Padma, SPM Tsering Dolkar and State MIS Sojang from LRLM State team and trainers Venkatesh Rao and Sridhar from SERP Telangana were present as chief trainers.
On this occasion, State Mission Director LRLM Tahir Hussain directed all the CMs to ensure that they organize regular meetings in their respective village organizations so that the objective of the mission can be achieved.
For this, it is important that all the participants involved in this training should be enthusiastic and take advantage of this training and convey the information received from here to their SHGs.

Assistant Development Commissioner Kargil, Ghulam Mohammad highlighted the usefulness of this training as such residential training has never been conducted in the entire Ladakh till now.
He assured that such residential training will develop leadership capabilities of all the participants, thereby helping in strengthening village organizations and self-help groups.
DPO Padma urged all the participants that this training can be made successful only when all the participants remain involved in the activities in this training with full concentration.
Also, while throwing light on this mission,she said that this is the biggest scheme for the upliftment and development of women in rural areas and it can be made successful only as long as all of you (community mobilizers) are trained.
She added that due to lack of training of all the communities mobilized in Ladakh, there is difficulty in following the objectives of the mission properly, due to which the objectives of the mission are not achieved properly due to which the plan takes a wrong direction.
Furthermore, she said through this training, all the community mobilizers will be given information about SHG concept, decision making, necessary proposals, LokOS training, VO structure, documentation, book keeping and livelihood related information, so that this mission can achieve social and economic upliftment.
