LEH: Since cleanliness and awareness drives have been going on across the district, on Tuesday a cleanliness drive was organised by Rural Development Department here.
The drive was held in collaboration with Health and School Education Department in the Liker subdivision.
Sarpanch Liker, other PRI members and Lumberdar; District Panchayat Officer Leh; Sub-Divisional Magistrate Liker and staff; Officials from the health department; Staff and students from Government High School Liker participated in the cleanliness drive.
Black spots around the Liker Spang area, along the national highway, were cleaned, and carried the collected waste to the nearby Solid Resource Management Centre (SRMC) for proper processing.
