Rajnath Singh Launches Key Digital and Welfare Initiatives at Army Commanders’ Conference

Jaisalmer:  Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated a series of major digital and welfare initiatives during the Army Commanders’ Conference, reinforcing the Army’s push towards a “Decade of Transformation.”
Among the key launches were state-of-the-art Edge Data Centres for the Konark and Fire & Fury Corps, designed to boost the Army’s digital infrastructure with secure, low-latency data processing to support real-time operational decisions.
He also unveiled the modernised Equipment Help Line (EHL) portal, which integrates AI-based maintenance support and real-time technical assistance for Army units across the country.
Another significant initiative was the launch of the ‘Sainik Yatri Mitra’ App. Integrated with the ARMAAN platform, the app digitises the management of Defence Duty Quota seats across more than 1,200 trains, improving transparency and making travel easier for serving personnel.
Officials said these initiatives collectively reflect the Army’s commitment to digital transformation, operational efficiency, and the welfare of its soldiers.
