Leh, December 22, 2025:
Under the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore–2025’ campaign, a Mimang–Si–sJabstogs (Administration at Your Doorstep) outreach camp was organised at the Kharnakling Community Hall, aimed at strengthening grassroots governance and ensuring effective delivery of public services.
The camp was warmly received by local Nambardars (Gobas), including Tsering Palgais, Chemet Doejay, Tashi Gombo and Tashi Rabstan, who welcomed the Nodal Officer, Tsering Tashi, along with officers and officials from various departments.
Officials from Horticulture, Power Development, Health, Social Welfare, Public Health Engineering (PHE), Rural Development, Education, DYSSO Leh and other line departments participated in the programme. On-the-spot services were provided, public grievances were addressed, and information on government schemes and welfare programmes was disseminated among villagers.
The Nodal Officer briefed residents on the objectives of the campaign, stressing the need for coordinated departmental efforts to ensure timely and efficient service delivery at the grassroots level. He encouraged villagers to actively avail benefits under various welfare schemes and participate in such outreach initiatives.
Villagers submitted applications and grievances during the camp, with assurances from the administration that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned authorities for prompt redressal. The active participation of villagers and officials underscored the administration’s commitment to transparent, responsive and people-centric governance under the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore–2025’ initiative.
