PMFME awareness program held in Tia

Tia: Department of Industries and Commerce, UT Ladakh organized a one-day awareness workshop on Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) scheme in Tia village.

SPMU-PMFME team apprised the gathering that the aim of the scheme is to uplift small-scale food entrepreneurs by offering financial assistance, infrastructure development, capacity building, and market access.

Under the PMFME Scheme, eligible micro food processing enterprises can access credit-linked capital subsidy @35%, technical upgradation support, and assistance in obtaining necessary licenses and certifications.
