Kargil: The Students Council General Election 2025 for PM SHRI Govt Middle School Doks Chutumail was held Saturday in a serene and organized environment.
The election process concluded smoothly, with active participation from both staff members and students.
The election witnessed enthusiastic involvement, as two candidates contested for each of the prestigious posts: President, Vice President, and General Secretary. The candidates were:
– President: Yawar Abass and Mohammad Mudasir
– Vice President: Fatima Nissa and Mohd Abass
– General Secretary: Fatima and Mohd Mussa
Despite the rainy weather, the students and staff demonstrated remarkable commitment by casting their votes with high spirits. A total of 64 votes were cast, reflecting the vibrant democratic spirit within the school community.
The results are as follows:
President:
Yawar Abass secured 39 votes, winning by a margin of 14 votes.
Vice President: Mohd Abass received 33 votes, clinching victory by a margin of 3 votes.
General Secretary: Fatima achieved an impressive 43 votes, triumphing with a margin of 24 votes.
The Headmaster and staff conveyed their heartfelt congratulations to the winning candidates for their remarkable achievements.
The event concluded with the National Anthem, marking a day of celebration and unity. Students expressed their excitement and appreciation for the electoral process, which offered them valuable insights into democratic values.
The winning candidates will officially assume their roles and take the oath during the Morning Assembly on Monday, April 21, 2025.
