
Pharmacovigilance awareness campaign on drug safety held at Mahabodhi Karuna Charitable Hospital
LEH: The Pharmacovigilance awareness campaign on drug safety was organized by Assistant Drug Controller, government of India, Leh branch in collaboration with Mahabodhi Karuna Charitable Hospital in the premises of Mahabodhi Karuna Charitable Hospital.
Large number of students from Mahabodhi Residential School and staff members of MBKCH and MIMC attended this program held on September 17.
Several distinguished guests including very senior Dr Smanla with Jigmat, Col. Smanla with Tahira Bano, Ambassador P. Stopdan, Ven. Fa Kuan from Taiwan have graced the function, Nasreen, Assistant Drug controller, UT Ladakh was special guest.
Nasreen, Dr. Nilza and Aman Ulla, the administrative officers have explained the Pharmacovigilance very lucidly. The campaign was very informative and educative regarding the right use, misuse and abuse of drugs.
Bhikkhu Sanghasena, the founder of Mahabodhi Karuna Charitable Hospital, Leh thanked all the guests specially Nasreen for collaborating in organizing this very important health and drugs awareness.
He also shared good news with the audience that MKCH will soon resume the full-fledged medical services to the people of Ladakh.
