
Over half a dozen join Congress in Leh
LEH: In a powerful display of community engagement and dedication to the principles of progress and inclusivity, a substantial number of individuals have pledged their allegiance to the Congress Party at Rong village.
DCC Leh, General Secretary Ladakh, Angchok Ney in a statement said, “The Congress Party is delighted to announce a significant surge in supporters and new members joining its ranks.”
In the presence of Ladakh Territorial Congress Committee President Nawang Rigzin Jora, DCC Leh, President Rigzin Namgyal, MCL President Dr Ishey Namgyal and DCC women President Advocate Dechen Angmo and senior members, the Congress Party extended a warm welcome to all new members.
The party remains committed to working tirelessly towards realizing the aspirations and dreams of the residents of Rong Village and Ladakh, he added.
The members who were welcomed into the party fold included Jigmet Kunfail Naib Sarpanch Kungyam, Thinles Gurmat Panch Liktsey, Jigmat Dorjay Tarchet, Jigmet Chinba Tukla Phulak, Padma Stanzin Skidmang, Gen Kharap Paldan Kungyam, and Jigmat Yountan resident of Kesar Chairman BDC Rong Chumathang. Meanwhile, Skarma Tsering Tukla was appointed as Youth President, Rong.
