Leh: Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir are scripting new success stories and climbing up the pedestal of excellence after the abrogation of article 370, which has opened up an endless sea of opportunities for organisations and individuals in the last three-and-a-half years.

The government’s effort at making Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir the focal point of the country’s growth in the future has been reaping fruits with several multinational companies taking keen interest in the region, even as the union territory is currently sitting on a heap of huge investments.

In a landmark development in this journey, Mr Vimal Gupta, a top industry executive has joined as the Chief Executive Officer of ESPA Line Industries, a conglomerate of companies operating in Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, and other parts of India and the United States of America.

Gupta’s move from a USD 1.8 billion-strong diversified infrastructure major where he served as its Vice-President, to Jammu and Kashmir’s own home-grown ESPA Line Industries, is hailed by industry experts as a testimony to the region’s potential and the endless possibilities it provides, even as they hint at more top executive moving to Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir in the near future.

Having worked with global conglomerates and reputed organizations, Mr Vimal Gupta has an enviable track record of demonstrated leadership for over 30 years.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Gupta said, “I am excited to join ESPA Line Industries and take on the challenge of driving the growth of the company. With my experience and expertise, I am confident that we can take the company to new heights and achieve our goals.”

“As a professional, I see immense potential in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh that has only started to come to the fore in last three-and-a-half years. The innovation and creativity backed by strong R&D by the natives of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir in the flagship start-ups of ESPA Line Industries, viz ESPA Learn and ESPA Fee was a pull strong enough for me to join the ESPA Line Industries, which will lead the journey of taking Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir to the top,” he added.

Mr Vimal Gupta has a proven track record of driving growth and profitability in his previous roles. He has extensive experience in managing operations, sales, and marketing, and has led several successful initiatives in his career. With him at helm of the affairs, ESPA Line Industries is expected to witness a significant boost in its growth trajectory.

“Mr Vimal Gupta’s appointment as the CEO of ESPA Line Industries is a significant milestone for our company,” said Mr Shivang Satya Gupta, the Managing Director of ESPA Line Industries.

“His vast experience and expertise will help us push the pace of our growth with more precision and quantum. We are confident that ESPA Line Industries will reap the abundance of fruits with Mr Vimal Gupta being on board as CEO of the company,” said Mr Shivang Satya Gupta.

“His appointment is not only a testament to our commitment to excellence and our vision for the future, but also to the potential that Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir hold, especially after August 2019. The investment has never been a problem with any of the two union territories. The top intelligentsia moving to the region to mentor the companies here, will usher Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir into a new era of prosperity and success,” he added.

Headquartered in Jammu, with corporate offices at Jammu and Mumbai, the ESPA Line Industries is a conglomerate of companies that operates in multiple industries with a focus on futuristic education, technology-embedded solutions and services, food media, marketing, events, film productions, real estate, IT-enabled services, and green energy solutions, besides innovative practices for increasing green economy with its presence across different parts of India including Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir, and the United States of America.

The group has two flagship start-ups in ESPA Fee and ESPA Learn, both government-recognised and nationally awarded.
