Leh: In a heartening example of service beyond the battlefield, the Indian Army’s Fire and Fury Corps, under Operation Sadbhavana, continues to play a vital role in the development and nation-building efforts of Ladakh.
As part of its ongoing initiatives to uplift education in the region, the Army has extended its support to Jamyang School, Leh, by upgrading essential infrastructure.
In a recent gesture aimed at enhancing the learning environment, the Indian Army provided desks, dining furniture, and water heaters to the school. These additions are expected to significantly improve daily school life for students, particularly during Ladakh’s harsh winters.
Jamyang School, like many others in the region, serves children from remote and underprivileged backgrounds. The Army’s support ensures that these young learners not only receive education but do so in a dignified and comfortable environment.
