KARGIL: Nehru Yuva Kendra Kargil, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, organised a District-level Declamation Contest with the theme ‘MY Bharat – Viksit Bharat@2024: By the Youth, For the Youth’.
The event took place at the Ladakh Academy of Art, Cultural, and Language Hall on January 10, 2024.
Jigmat Spaldon, District Youth Officer, extended a warm welcome to all attendees and briefed about the program. Distinguished jury members included Syed Sajjad, Coordinator Culture, SAMAGRAH Education Department; Dr. Rinchen Dolkar, Women Scientist, KVK Kargil; and Syed Mustafa, Assistant Professor.
Approximately 50 youth from across the Kargil district passionately participated, sharing their insightful visions, ideas, and thoughts on a developed Bharat.
The results of the contest are as follows: Zahra Batool Poyen secured the first prize, Zareena Khanam team Stringmo, claimed the second prize, and Shehnaz Fatima Umba Sankoo emerged as the third prize winner.
Nasreen Fatima Quarishi hosted the program, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all participants and attendees.
The esteemed jury members also took the opportunity to share their valuable thoughts during the event.
The district level winner will participate virtually in the coming state level competition. All the winners are awarded with the memento and certificates.
