LEH: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson on Sunday congratulated Imtiyas Hussain from Nubra region for bagging Bronze medal at the 19th National Kungfu Wushu Championship which was recently held at Amritsar, Punjab.
The championship was organised by Kungfu Wushu Association of India (KWAI) a wing of Kungfu Wushu Federation of Asia and the International Kungfu Wushu Federation.
In his message, CEC Gyalson stated, “Ladakhi youths are utilising good platforms to showcase their talents at various national and international levels. Ever since Ladakh has become a UT, opportunity for sportsperson have tremendously increased. These kind of representations were never received by our sportsman prior to UT due to which thier performance go unnoticed. But now, we are performing better in all types of sports discipline be it at team level or in individual capacity.”
He further added that the Ladakh Administration and Hill Council Leh have been ensuring all possible assistance for the youths in various sectors. CEC Gyalson wishes best to sportsperson like Imtiyaz to excel in their careers.
As informed, Imtiyas also secured a gold medal in Arnis National Championship 2022 this year which was held at Srinagar.
