Leh: A new chapter in the academic life of Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Leh, began today with the inauguration of its newly established School Library. The ceremony was led by Bhanu Prabha, Secretary of the Education Department, Ladakh, along with Director Tsering Paldan.
During the event, Secretary Bhanu Prabha highlighted the vital role of the library in supporting students’ learning and encouraged them to fully utilize this resource to boost their knowledge and academic progress. The occasion was also attended by Chief Education Officer Leh, Deldan Angmo, and Kunzang, Principal of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Leh.
After the formal inauguration, the dignitaries toured the school’s laboratories, reviewing the facilities and infrastructure in place. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the school’s Principal, Tsering Norbu, who expressed heartfelt appreciation to all the guests for their presence and continued support.
This new library marks an important step in enriching the educational environment at the school, providing students with better access to learning materials and resources.
