Leh, June 19: Ahead of the upcoming NEET Re-Examination, Deputy Commissioner Leh Shri Romil Singh Donk, IAS, chaired a high-level review meeting to assess and finalize arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination across the district.
During the meeting, officials deliberated on key logistical and administrative measures aimed at ensuring a hassle-free experience for candidates appearing in the re-examination.
Authorities informed that two examination centres have been designated in Leh district — Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Leh and Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Leh.
To assist students in reaching their centres on time, the District Administration has arranged special transportation services, with buses operating from Choglamsar and Namgyal Chowk to the designated examination venues.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned departments to work in close coordination and ensure that every arrangement is in place for the successful and seamless conduct of the examination.
Candidates and their guardians have also been advised to contact the Emergency Helpline 112 for any assistance related to transportation or examination-related concerns.
Reaffirming its commitment to a fair and smooth examination process, the District Administration assured that all necessary support mechanisms have been put in place to facilitate candidates and maintain orderly conduct during the NEET Re-Examination.
