National Wildlife Week observed in Padum

Padum: National Wildlife week on the “theme of Partnership for Wildlife Conservation”
was organized by Forest Division Kargil at Government Higher Secondary School Padum Zanskar on Friday.

During the event students, teachers and staff of Forest Range Zanskar participated, besides Principal Hr. Sec. School Padum was invited as a Chief Guest.

The Principal e urged to share the responsibility of protecting and preserving the natural resources.
Range officer Zanskar sensitized the students about the importance of celebrating National Wildlife Week and urged the students to protect the lives of the endangered and threatened species of flora and fauna.

An elocution competition was organized with enthusiastic participation from students of Govt. Hr. Secondary School Padum.
