In Ladakh, the first Seminar/Sheep Show was organized by the Sheep Husbandry Department Kargil under National Livestock Mission (NLM), at Village Apati in Kargil district.
More than 180 progressive breeders from Sodh Block including BDC Chairman, PRI’s Members and prominent religious heads attended the seminar.
Dr Niyaz Ul Hassanian While talking on this occasion said that in this era the New UT Administration Department of Sheep Husbandry is focusing on increasing the livestock population of the district.
