MP Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal paid homage to the row of Rock Sculptured Buddha Statues sighted on the roadside in Drass on Srinagar-Leh NH1. “They stand there as sentinels of a bygone era when this route was presumably frequented by pilgrims, traders & Buddhist missionaries travelling towards Ladakh & beyond,” he said while visiting.
