Leh, November 1, 2025: Over two days, from October 31 to November 1, the revered Rigyal Rinpoche and monks from the Drikung Kagyu Sangha have been meticulously creating an Avalokiteshvara Sand Mandala at the Dharma Center, Choglamsar. The sacred artwork is being prepared ahead of the Ladakh Shabrim Chenmo Prayers, scheduled from November 3 to 5.
Crafted with rare precision and devotion, the mandala symbolizes world peace, harmony, and the understanding of impermanence. Each grain of colored sand is placed with care, reflecting centuries-old Buddhist tradition and meditative discipline.
The public is invited to visit and witness this sacred creation. Visitors are encouraged to sit in silence, absorb the serene atmosphere, and experience the living expression of spiritual art and mindfulness.
