Mohsin attends welcome function for students at GMS Khardun Chiktan
Kargil: Executive Councilor, Health, Agriculture & Revenue, LAHDC, Kargil, Mohsin Ali Wednesday attended the welcome program organized by the Headmaster and staff members of Government Middle School Khardun, Chiktan to warmly welcome the students back in school after winter vacation.
ZEPO Chiktan, Incharge ZPEO Chiktan, PRI members, Village Education Committee Members, representative of 17000 ft., parents and villagers of Khardun also participated in the event.
The VEC Members and Headmaster of the institution thanked the Executive Councilor for attending the function.
They also put forth some demands before the EC which includes the construction of additional classrooms and providing of some essential items for the school.
During his concluding speech, EC Mohsin intimated that an amount of Rs 1.50 lakh has been sanctioned for the renovation of classrooms and provided PA set under CCDF for the school.
He assured the VEC, Headmaster and parents that all possible help will be provided from LAHDC Kargil and he will focus to uplift the Govt. Middle School Khardun in all aspects.
The EC also announced one set of Shamiyana, Computer and Tarpaulin will be provided for the institution under Subsidy Component for the year 2023-24.
He also said that the construction of additional classrooms will be taken up with the concerned department accordingly. The congratulated the staff and VEC members for increasing the enrolment of the school.
