Leh, May 18 : Mission Director, National Health Mission Ladakh, Sh. Tushar Anand (IAS), conducted an inspection visit to PHC Thiksay and PHC Chuchot to review the healthcare facilities and services being provided to the public.
During the visit, the Mission Director inspected various sections of the health centres including the pharmacy, healthcare service delivery mechanisms, and the functioning and roles of the staff. He interacted with the healthcare personnel and reviewed the overall arrangements aimed at ensuring effective and efficient healthcare services for the people.
The Mission Director directed the health staff to maintain quality healthcare standards and ensure dedicated service delivery towards the welfare of the public. He also stressed the importance of creating awareness among the people regarding the healthcare benefits and services being provided by the Government of India through the health centres.
The Mission Director further emphasized the need for strengthening public healthcare services and ensuring that people in rural and remote areas fully benefit from the healthcare facilities available under various government health initiatives.
