Leh, December 13:
A Mimangs Si Jabstok (Administration at Doorstep) camp was organised today at Panchayat Ghar, Police Colony, with Chief Agriculture Officer Leh, Thinles Dawa, serving as the Nodal Officer. The camp witnessed participation from multiple departments, which provided on-the-spot services and created awareness about key government welfare schemes.

Addressing the gathering, the Nodal Officer urged residents to avail the services being offered and assured that grievances raised during the camp would be addressed on priority, while long-term issues would be formally recorded for appropriate follow-up.

The Power Development Department (PDD) encouraged residents to use the Ladakh Bijli App for accessing electricity-related services online. The Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department informed the public about the Jal Jeevan Mission, highlighted the importance of regular water quality testing, and distributed water testing kits.

The Food Supply Department briefed residents on the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, enrolment and updates in ration cards, and the transition from BPL to PHH categories. The ICDS Department highlighted services available at the Police Colony centre, including the Supplementary Nutrition Programme with a weekly menu, pre-school education, and benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY).

The Education Department shared details about the Ladakh Model School initiative and other centrally sponsored schemes, while Revenue officials created awareness about land registration procedures and assured resolution of land-related issues. The Rural Development Department informed residents about the handing over of the Gapheling Committee Hall to the community and ongoing CCDF and Stangda projects.

Officials from the Bank and Agriculture Departments interacted with residents on their respective schemes. Kifayat Hussan, Manager, CFL Project, briefed participants on unclaimed funds under the DEA Fund, the use of the RBI–UDGAM portal for faster settlement, and schemes such as PMEGP, KCC, Re-KYC, and social security programmes including PMSBY, PMJJBY and APY. He also shared important inputs on cyber fraud prevention and the safe use of digital payment platforms.

During the interaction, the Goba submitted a memorandum outlining local grievances to the administration for consideration and necessary follow-up.
