Drass, Dec 8, 2025: The Teachers Welfare Association Drass, in collaboration with the Zonal Education Office Drass, organized the Zonal Level Annual Award Distribution Ceremony 2025 at the Dak Bungalow, Drass, celebrating outstanding student achievements and reinforcing the role of community, parents, and administration in enhancing education standards.
The event was graced by Mr. Zakir Hussain, Hon’ble Executive Councillor, as the Chief Guest, along with Mr. Abdul Samad and Mr. Abdul Wahid, Councillors of Upper and Lower Constituencies, as Guests of Honour.
Mr. Nisar Ahmad, President of Teachers Welfare Association Drass, delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the importance of recognizing student excellence and fostering community engagement in academic progress.
Chief Guest Zakir Hussain praised teachers and the Zonal Education Office for their commitment to improving education in Drass. He stressed student-centric teaching, strong foundational learning, and improved classroom practices, and assured full administrative support for infrastructure enhancement, resource availability, and grievance redressal for teachers.
The ceremony’s highlight was the award distribution, where meritorious students from various schools were felicitated for their exemplary academic performance, inspiring the community and promoting a culture of excellence.
