
Mere Registrations under PMJAY Golden Card in Leh since lack of information
Leh: Member of Parliament, Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal Friday said that people lack information about the list of empanelled hospitals where the benefits of Golden cards could be availed.
The lack of information among public has resulted in mere registration under under PMJAY (Golden Card).
MP JTN while reviewing the achievements of NHM, MP Ladakh stated, “Mere registration under PMJAY (Golden Card) would not ensure the true success of the scheme.”
The MP said, “Many of the public/citizens lack information about the list of empanelled hospitals where the benefits of Golden cards could be availed.”
He directed CMO Leh to ensure that awareness camps are held to disseminate information about the process of availing benefits under Golden card.
The MP further asked the concerned to provide the empanelled hospitals list specifically of hospitals in Delhi, Jammu, Srinagar and Chandigarh where most patients from Ladakh seek treatment.
MP JTN who is also the Chairman of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA), chaired a meeting to review the progress achieved under different Centrally Sponsored Schemes in the Leh district.
