MC Kargil organizes awareness session for sanitation workers

KARGIL: In the wake of celebration of World Environment Week, MC Kargil in collaboration with LeDeG Thursday organized an awareness-cum-training session for sanitation workers of MC Kargil to improve their sanitation practices and promote hygiene among them.

Promoting hygiene would immensely benefit sanitation workers as they can learn new techniques, best practices and safety measures related to their work.

During the training session, sanitation workers were educated about the effective use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ways to maintain health and hygiene and prevention of diseases and promoting a clean environment.

The training session was also attended by Municipal Ward Members.
