Market checking held in Padum, Zanskar

Kargil: A team of Government Officers and Officials headed by Naib Tehsildar Zanskar, Mohd Hassan Tuesday conducted market checking in main market Padum, Zanskar and its adjoining areas.

During the checking, general stores, restaurants, Dabas, vegetable, meat and chicken sellers were checked. The team inquired about the hygiene and cleanliness of restaurants and Dhabas.

An amount of Rs 5,600 was collected as fine from the defaulters. They were instructed to keep their restaurants neat and clean.

The team comprised SHO Zanskar and team, officials of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) and others.
