Leh: In a significant police reshuffle aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency across Ladakh, the Home Department has ordered the transfer and posting of several IPS officers with immediate effect.
According to Order No. 98-Home of 2025, Ms. Shruti Arora, IPS (AGMUT:2018), who was serving as Superintendent of Police, Leh, has been shifted to Police Headquarters (PHQ), UT of Ladakh.
Her position in Leh will now be held by Shree Raam R, IPS (AGMUT:2019), who earlier served as Superintendent of Police, Kargil.
Meanwhile, Nitin Yadav, IPS (AGMUT:2021), previously Additional SP, Kargil, has been promoted and posted as Superintendent of Police, Kargil, succeeding Shree Raam R.
The reshuffle, approved by Dr. Pawan Kotwal, IAS, Chief Secretary and Administrative Secretary, Home Department, is described as part of routine administrative measures to strengthen coordination and policing efficiency across the Union Territory.
