LEH, October 20: Lieutenant General Hitesh Bhalla, General Officer Commanding, Fire and Fury Corps, visited forward-deployed troops across Ladakh to review operational preparedness and inspect the conditions at strategic posts along the high-altitude frontier. During the visit, he commended the soldiers for their steadfast dedication, professionalism, and resilience in safeguarding the nation’s borders.
The Corps Commander conveyed Diwali greetings to all ranks and shared messages of appreciation received from across the country, highlighting the nation’s recognition of their sacrifices and commitment.
The visit, conducted a day before the festival of Diwali, also aimed to boost morale among troops stationed in some of the most remote and challenging terrains.
