Kargil, Dec 3, 2025: The Ladakh Subordinate Staff Service Selection Board (LSSSSB) today conducted a detailed training session for invigilators, centre superintendents and authentication officials, aimed at ensuring the fair and hassle-free conduct of upcoming examinations. The session was held under the supervision of Secretary LSSSSB, Dr. Zahida Banoo.
Tehsildar Kargil Ayaz Ahmad, Assistant Director FCS&CA Samina Khatoon, Executive Officer MC Kargil Arifa Iqbal, District Informatics Officer Iftikhar Hussain and AO to DC Zakir Hussain were also present.
Officials were briefed on strict adherence to exam-day protocols and timelines. Exam centres will open at 8:30 AM, question papers will be issued at 9:00 AM, and invigilators must be in their rooms by 10:30 AM to finalise seating, attendance and series allocation. The exam will begin at 11:00 AM and run for 90 minutes, with additional time only for verified PwD candidates.
The board reiterated strict ban on mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices and any electronic gadgets. Frisking will be conducted gender-wise, and washroom movement will be restricted except in exceptional cases approved by the Centre Superintendent.
Authentication officials received detailed guidance on document verification, proper handling of Android devices, lighting requirements and biometric scanning procedures. Post-exam protocols—including careful counting and sealing of used and unused OMR sheets—were also emphasised.
All officials were added to a dedicated WhatsApp group for real-time coordination.
The session concluded with participants reaffirming their commitment to conduct the examinations with discipline, transparency and integrity.
