LPCC conducts inspection for banned Single Use Plastic items in Kargil

Kargil: Municipal Committee, Kargil, in collaboration with Ladakh Pollution Control Committee (LPCC), imposed fine of Rs 5,600 on defaulters and seized Single Use Plastic (SUP) items from retailers and wholesalers in Kargil Bazaar.

The defaulters were fined and seized during a joint inspection conducted against the use of banned Single Use Plastic items on April 26.

Further, Ladakh Pollution Control Committee imposed fine of Rs 6,000 on the defaulters and seized Single Use Plastic items in Khaltse and Nimoo markets.
