LEH: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier BD Mishra (Retd) on Monday extended his greetings on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima.
The LG urged Buddhist brothers and sisters in Ladakh to follow the path of wisdom, kindness, generosity and compassion shown by Lord Buddha
In a message on X, he said, “On the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima, which commemorates the birth, enlightenment and maha parinirvana of Gautam Buddha, I send my best wishes to all my Ladakhi brothers and sisters in general and my Buddhist brethren in equal terms.”
“I urge my Ladakhi Buddhist brothers and sisters to follow the path of wisdom, kindness, generosity and compassion shown by Lord Buddha, he said and added that May Lord Buddha’s teachings continue to guide and lead us towards the righteous path.
