Leh: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan today and briefed her on the current administrative developments and key priorities in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
The meeting underscored the Centre’s continued focus on inclusive growth, strategic infrastructure, and welfare programs in the region.
During his visit to the national capital, the Lt Governor also held discussions with Member of Parliament from Ladakh, Mohd Haneefa Jan.
Their dialogue focused on the overall development agenda for Ladakh, with emphasis on connectivity, youth empowerment, and public services.
Additionally, social activist from Kargil, Shri Sajjad Kargili, called on the Lt Governor in Delhi to discuss local concerns and developmental needs of the people, particularly from remote and underrepresented areas.
The Lt Governor assured him of active consideration and sustained engagement with civil society.
