LEH: Deputy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk chaired a meeting to discuss issues raised by Medical Assistants/Pharmacists fraternity of Leh Ladakh.
Detail discussions took place on the issues raised by medical assistants regarding Central Pharmacy Act of UT Ladakh. The Medical Assistants also demand for the consideration of registration with Ladakh Pharmacy Council. They apprised about problems faced regarding registration of pharmacist working as pharmacists in various govt health institutions and obtaining drug licence under the Central Act.
The representatives requested the Administration to look into the matter of Medical Assistants/Pharmacists.
Taking note of their grievances, Dy Chairman Angchuk assured to take up these issues with the concerned authorities and to address them accordingly at the earliest possible.
The meeting was attended by ADC leh; Dy CMO; Drug Controller cum Registrar Ladakh Pharmacy Council; President Chemist and Druggist Association Leh, and Representatives from Medical Assistants fraternity.
