LEH: The Agriculture Department, Leh on Monday conducted a one-day Farmers’ Awareness-cum-Training Camp, on the occasion of World Soil Day.
The camp was based on the theme- “Soils: Where Food Begins”.
Stanzin Chosphel, Executive Councillor, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh, scientists from Defence Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR), Leh, Defence Research and Development Organisation were present on the occasion.
At the camp, the experts explained the techniques and methods for maintaining the Soil Health for healthy farming.
