Leh: The Ladakh unit of BJP organised a ‘Mega Assembly‘ at Choglamsar to give a clear briefing about ‘ModiSarkar’ which is working relentlessly toward developments and to know about the upcoming government plans for the overall benefit of the people of Ladakh.

The programme started with a welcome speech by District President Leh, Tashi Khachu. And, apart from the BJP leaders and Executive members from Leh, Nubra, Kargil & Zanskar, the Mega Assembly was attended by the  BDCs; Sarpanches; Panches; Gobas; Members; President’s/Representatives of various Tsogspa from villages and Head of Organizations/Unions. Overall, 1500 people attended yesterday’s BJP Mega Assembly.MP Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal; Hon’ble Chairman LAHDC Leh Adv. Tashi Gyalson and BJP State President Phunchok Stanzin spoke on the occasion among other BJP leaders.

Speakers have emphasized some of the major developments brought in Ladakh by ModiSarkar like fulfilling the demand of the Union Territory to Ladakh with the allotment of funds of 6000 crores; As promised by the GOI, recruitment drives already started in Ladakh and very soon LAHD-SSRB Leh will notify the vacancies in consultation with all the departments; Had clear the rumours and the false information shared by the oppositions about the Safeguard to Ladakh and the landAct;

Allotment of ample of funds for the Northern Grid Power Supply specially in the far-flung areas of Ladakh; Presenting Private Bill in Lok Sabha to include Bhoti Language in the 8th Schedule of Indian Constituency; Development in the education sector by having the University of Ladakh; Dean University to CIBS; Sindhu Central University; Sanctioned Medical & Engineering college and so on; ModiSarkar with the vision of Digital India connected the uncovered and the most far-flung areas/villages of Ladakh with the rest of the world by installing ample of BSNL & JIO towers; Dr Yangchan Dolma, Hon’ble Councillor has also emphasized the major positive changes & developments related to the funds or equipment brought in the Health sector of Ladakh under ModiSarkar; Shared the success report of Hal Ghar Jal under Jal Jeevan Mission in Ladakh; Distribution of Free ration to all the poor & needy people during the pandemic; Benefits taken from government schemes and many more.

Moreover, by realising the importance of strengthening the party and working relentlessly for the development of Ladakh many people from various villages have voluntarily joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and were welcomed with Khataks by the BJP Leaders. Overall, the event remained successful and was concluded with the vote of thanks by Shri Nawang Samstan BJP State Vice President/Incharge Leh district.
