Kharu: Under the banner of Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, an Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camp successfully held at Kharu Sub Division on June 27.
The campaign witnessed an active participation from various line departments, which aimed to provide essential services and raise awareness about all the government welfare schemes to the general public.
Departments including Revenue Department, Education Department, Agriculture Department, Horticulture Department, Health Department, ICDS, Animal Husbandry Department, Sheep Husbandry Department, FCS&CA Department, Rural Development Department, Social Welfare Department, DIC Leh, PNB and others participated and provided awareness, on-spot services and clarified doubts regarding various government schemes and welfare initiatives.
As part of the camp, the following services and benefits were delivered to the local residents which includes, 10 Aadhar card, 10 PM Jan Dhan Yojana, 4 pension card, 5 MGNREGA, 1 KCC and other services. Free Medical Check up and awareness on various schemes were also done during the campaign.
Residents from villages in Kharu Sub Division actively participated in the camp and availed themselves of the services such as on-the-spot issuance of certificates, health check-ups, awareness sessions on agricultural practices, pension scheme enrollment, livestock care consultation, and distribution of informative literature related to public welfare schemes.
As part of the Dharti Aabha Abhiyan camp various departments extended their services and disseminated information on government schemes directly to residents, ensuring on-the-spot delivery and assistance.
Later, an Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camp, under the initiative of Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan held at the Kharnakling Community Hall in Choglamsar.
The campaign successfully provided essential services and raised awareness about government welfare schemes to the local residents in the area.
Various departments actively participated in the campaign, aiming to reach the general public directly. Among them were the Revenue Department, Education Department, Agriculture Department, Horticulture Department, Health Department, ICDS, Animal Husbandry Department, Sheep Husbandry Department, FCS&CA, Rural Development Department, Social Welfare Department, DIC Leh as well as Punjab National Bank, Centre for Financial Literacy and others.
These departments offered on-the-spot services, provided valuable information, and addressed public queries regarding various government schemes and welfare initiatives.
Local residents received several services and benefits during the camp. These included the issuance of 15 Ration Card, 5 PM Kiss Samman Nidhi Yojana, 4 Ayushman Bharat card generated and 12 downloaded, 2 KCC, 3 PM Jeevan Jyoti Bema Yojana, 02 PM Matru Bandana Yojana and other services.
Free medical check-ups and Anemia screening were also conducted, and attendees received information on various schemes.
Residents of Kharnakling and near areas actively engaged in the camp, taking advantage of services such as immediate certificate issuance, health screenings, and awareness sessions on agricultural practices.
They also benefited from pension scheme enrollment, livestock care consultations, and the distribution of informative materials on public welfare schemes.
Through the Dharti Aabha Abhiyan camp, departments directly extended their services and disseminated information, ensuring immediate assistance and delivery to residents.
