A delegation from LAHDC Leh headed by Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson called on Union Minister of Defence (MOD), Rajnath Singh.
The delegation presented a memorandum to the Defence Minister which majorly highlighted issues regarding resumption for local civilians to travel in IAF aircrafts from Nubra and Leh, work progress and status of strategic Nimo-Padum-Darcha (NPD) road, job reservation for locals in Army and BRO projects, strengthening of various schemes including BADP and Vibrant village program in Ladakh, and various other genuine issues.
The Minister of Defence (MOD), Rajnath Singh gave a patient hearing to all the issues and demands projected by the official delegation and assured them for early redressal of all the genuine issues of border areas of UT Ladakh on priority.
