Leh: Aiming for enabling economic development and creating employment opportunities, the administration of Ladakh has drafted its Industrial Land Allotment Policy and sought views from stake holders.
“The policy will remain in operation for ten years from the date of its notification. However, the Policy will be reviewed from time to time based on a critical assessment of feedback from stakeholders, and change in scope that is regarded necessary,” an official spokesperson told Indus Dispatch.

“The land allotment policy aims at creating a strong Industrial base and a structured industrial land bank is seen as the central and pivotal support in attainment of the mission of moving the region to higher levels of industrial proficiency, productivity and competitiveness,” he said.
