Ladakhi Kisan Jawan Vigyan mela held in Siachen sector
Leh: Defence Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR) of DRDO organized its 29th Ladakhi Kisan Jawan Vigyan Mela on Sunday at its Dett Partapur in Siachen Sector.
The Mela was inaugurated by Brig Himanshu Hatkar, Brigade Commander, 102 Inf Bde, in benign presence of Prof SK Mehta, VC Ladakh University, Grp Cap SK Yadav, Stn Cdr Thoise, Dr OP Chaurasia,
Director DIHAR and Col Mangal Singh, Officer Incharge of DIHAR Dett. The basic aim of the Mela was to spread awareness among the local population and armed forces about the various agro-animal technologies developed by DIHAR.
On the occasion, progressive farmers and army units were also felicitated for their commendable efforts in their respective locations.
