Leh, July 4: A two-day career awareness seminar aimed at preparing students of the Union Territory of Ladakh for premier institutions like the Indian Institutes of Technology and the National Defence Academy concluded successfully in Leh and Kargil, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students across the region.
Organised by Career Defence School, the seminar was led by founder and CEO Vinay Rai along with Administrative Officer Gagan Wadhwa. The programme was coordinated by Khan Jahangeer and Amir Suhail in collaboration with the UT Ladakh Education Department.
In Leh, the event was attended by Sheikh Adil, DIET Principal S. D. Namgail, District Planning Officer and HOD DIET Anchay Yagdol. Addressing students, Sheikh Adil encouraged them to view failures as stepping stones to success, urging them to remain confident, disciplined and consistent in pursuing their goals.
In Kargil, Murtaza Khaleli and In-charge Chief Education Officer Dr. Sarwar Shahzad highlighted the importance of discipline, hard work and value-based education in shaping successful careers.
Speaking on the occasion, Vinay Rai said Ladakh’s youth possess exceptional talent and only need proper guidance and exposure to excel at the national level. He said the institute remains committed to preparing students for competitive examinations such as JEE Main, NEET, RIMC and NDA, while also focusing on personality development, leadership and nation-building.
The seminar also featured interactive question-and-answer sessions where students sought guidance on NDA eligibility, IIT preparation, scholarships, hostel facilities, physical fitness and emerging career opportunities in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
