Leh: The administration of Ladakh has asked administrative secretaries Heads of the Departments, Deputy Commissioners to Submit nominations for PM’S awards for Exce!lence in Public Administration 2022.
The Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Government of India has intimated that Government of India has approved the Scheme for Prime Minister’s awards for Excellence in Public Administration,2022, which are proposed to be presented on 21 April,2023 on the Civil Services Day.
The Scheme of Prime Minister’s awards for Excellence in Public Administration are designated to acknowledge, recognize and reward exemplary work done by civil servants across the country.
For the year 2022, the Scheme of Prime Minister’s awards for Excellence in Public Administration will recognize the contribution of civil servants in the areas like Promoting Swachh Jal (Clean Jal) through Har Ghar Jal Yojana, Promoting Swasth Bharath (Healthy Bharat) through Health & Weliness Centers, Promoting quality education with an equitable and inclusive classroom environment through Samagra Shiksha, Holistic Development through Aspirational District Programme overall progress with special focus on saturation approach and Innovations.
The process of registration and submission of applications/nominations on the PM’s Awards web portal for the above said awards has been commenced from 2nd October,2022 which will be operational till 28th November,2022.
Accordingly, Deputy Secretary to the Administration Zakir Hussain, KAS PM’s awards for Excellence in Public Administration are brought into the notices of all the Administrative Secretaries/Heads of the Departments/Deputy Commissioners for wider circulation and it is enjoined upon them to submit online nomination(s), if any, for the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration, 2022 as per guidelines on the awards available on web Portal (https://pmawards.gov.in).
