Twenty-three patients cured and discharged
Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, twelve new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.
While a total of 179 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 105 sample reports in Leh and 62 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that twenty-three patients were cured and discharged, out of which 21 were discharged by CMO Leh and 02 were discharged by CMO Kargil. UT Ladakh received 12 positive sample were received, out of which 11 were received by CMO Leh and 01 by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is, 91 out of which 86 active cases are in Leh district and 05 active cases are in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2073 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 521 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and 214 passengers were screened at Upshi Check post today.
