Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, three new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.

While a total of 769 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 629 sample reports in Leh and 137 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that fifteen patients were cured and discharged, all of them were discharged by CMO Leh. UT Ladakh received 03 positive sample were received, all of them were received by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 59 out of which 52 active cases are in Leh district and 07 active cases are in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1430 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 328 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and 157 passengers were screened at Upshi Check post today.
