Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, ten new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.
While a total of 736 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 471 sample reports in Leh and 255 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that nineteen patients were cured and discharged. Out of which 16 were discharged by CMO Leh and 3 by CMO Kargil. UT Ladakh received 10 positive sample out of which 02 were received by CMO Leh and 08 by CMO Kargil.With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 133, out of which 118 active cases are in Leh district and 15 active cases are in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 206 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 147 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and 190 passengers were screened at Upshi Check post today.
