Leh: In order to promote local artisans and culture of Ladakh during this tourist season, Department of Tourism & Culture, of Union Territory of Administration Ladakh is organising Ladakh Festival 2022 in Kargil.
The festival will be organised for two days i.e. 23rd and 24th of July 2 at Khree Sultan Choo Sports Stadium Bemathang Kargil.
CEC LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan inaugurated the festival this morning.
The festival is organised in collaboration with Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Kargil.
During this two days long event, there is going to be an exhibition cum sale of Local Handicraft Products. Apart from this there will be competition of traditional sports of Ladakh which is Archery and House Polo.
Traditional cultural program will also be organised during the festival. Traditional food stalls and Incredible India Kargil Marathon are going to be other highlight of the event. Here is the complete schedule
