Kargil: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Ladakh organized a professional meet of Kargil District as a part of the ongoing nationwide campaign commemorating eleven years of transformative and visionary governance under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The event aimed to highlight the achievements of the central government and connect with professionals across the Kargil District in the Union Territory of Ladakh.

The professional meet was presided over by BJP General Secretary (Organization) for Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Ashok Koul.

Prominent BJP leaders and office bearers present at the event included former Chief Executive Councillor Leh and BJP State Vice President Gaya Wangyal, BJP General Secretary Mohd Ali Majaz, Media Secretary Mohd Hassan Pasha, BJP District President Kargil Mohd Ali Chandan, BJYM District President Khurshid Ahmed, Sankoo Mandal President Qasim, along with several nominated Councillors.

In his keynote address, Ashok Koul emphasized the numerous welfare schemes initiated by the Modi government over the past 11 years, which have directly benefitted the poor, marginalized, and vulnerable sections of society.

He reiterated that under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has entered a new era of citizen-centric governance, where transparency, accountability, and development are at the core of public policy.

He said that the vision of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) is no longer a distant dream but a reality in the making.

Gaya Wangyal highlighted the recent successful operation conducted by the Indian Armed Forces, Operation Sindoor, which symbolizes India’s growing defense capabilities.

He noted that under the Congress-led regimes, India’s defense preparedness was often compromised, allowing adversaries like Pakistan to exploit our vulnerabilities.

However, with PM Modi at the helm, the country has witnessed a paradigm shift in its strategic posture, significantly enhancing national security and border management.

Khurshid Ahmed elaborated on India’s comprehensive growth across sectors such as infrastructure, digital connectivity, health, and education.

He particularly highlighted the progress Ladakh has made in recent years, stating that the region, once marred by neglect and logistical challenges, is now witnessing infrastructure and economic development on an unprecedented scale.

Qasim lauded the unwavering commitment and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi, stating that the strong grassroots presence and disciplined cadre of BJP have played a pivotal role in driving development to the last mile.

Mohd Ali Chandan welcomed the participants and provided an introductory overview of the purpose and agenda of the meet, while Mohd Ali Majaz presented the formal vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all attendees for their active participation and support.
